How I Use Biolage Ultra Hydra Source In My Hair Care Routine

I received the Biolage Professional Ultra Hydra Source line during the last few weeks of summer, which turned out to be the perfect time. After weeks of swimming in the pool and hanging out at the beach, my fine, curly hair was drier than usual. Not only were my strands feeling the effects of summer, but I was also washing my hair more than usual to ensure the chlorine and salt water didn’t wreak havoc on my hair.

After a trip to the pool, I gathered all of the products and headed to the bathroom to get my washday going. The first thing I noticed when I opened the Ultra Hydra Source Shampoo bottle was the divine smell. The shampoo lathered up nicely but also had a lot of slip, which meant I could gently start the detangled process before even getting to the conditioner.

Because I typically only wash my hair once a week, I usually skip conditioner in favor of using a deep conditioning treatment, but because I knew I planned on washing my hair multiple times that week, I gave the conditioner a try. The Ultra Hydra Source conditioner made detangling a breeze and left my hair silky smooth— a feel that’s usually reserved for expensive deep conditioning treatments.

The treatment truly delivered, leaving my strands velvety smooth. The only thing to note is that the treatment is very thick, making it a little harder to detangle. Allow the treatment to sit in your hair for at least five minutes and emulsify it with a little bit of water before taking a comb to your strands.

The real test of whether or not a range is truly hydrating is if my hair looks and feels soft beyond wash day. I am happy to report that four days after washing, conditioning, and styling, my hair still looked and felt moisturized!
